RS PRO malleable iron round tube has 1100 mm length and 48.3 mm outer diameter. It is suitable for pedestrian handrail, directional rail, guard rail and pillar protection.

Warning

Maximum side loading of 360 Nm, provided that the barrier is correctly fixed to a concrete or steel base (not timber). Mid rail centres, between upright supports, must not exceed 1500mm.
Consideration must be given to the grub screw, which tightened to 39 Nm, gives a slip load of 900kg (safety factor 2x).
