From RS PRO this putty knife is a specialist hand tool used for a variety of different tasks such as filling in cracks in walls and ceilings, it can be used as a scraping tool to remove excess residue, and as a stripping knife that can be used by painters and decorators to remove wallpaper and paint.
This putty knife is made from a special carbon steel blade which gives the blade flexibility and makes it easier to fill in any cracks and holes. The blade has been machine ground and polished to prevent premature rusting. It has hardwood scale tangs that have been riveted to the blade handle, which offer the user both excellent comfort and strength.
