Festo SMT/SME-8M Series T-Slot proximity sensors are fully compatible with all Festo cylinders that have T-slots. The SME/SMT series provide a reliable sensing solution in a variety of switching options. Sturdy central mounting guarantees that the sensor is securely screwed into the slot. Vibration, shock and tensile forces applied to the cable will neither cause the sensor to come loose nor lead to unreliable sensor functioning.
All sensors have cables suitable for use in energy chains and on robots as standard. This ensures maximum dependability and process reliability.
