BeagleBone PRU Cape
The BeagelBone PRU Cape is an add-on board that allows users to evaluate the Programmable Real-Time Units (PRU) of the BeagleBone's processor. The PRU is a low-latency microcontroller sub-system integrated in the Texas Instruments' Sitara AM335x and AM437x family of devices. The PRU is optimized for deterministic, real-time processing with direct access to Inputs/Outputs. The Cape includes LEDs and push buttons for GPIO, audio and a temperature sensor. PRU Cape demonstration software is available in the PRU Software Support Package hosted on git.ti.com.
