The Ansmann Jump Starter features USB output activation via a button press and automatically cuts off the USB output if the current falls below 200 mA for 30 seconds. It supports simultaneous charging and discharging, except through the jump start output. Discharging from all outputs, including the light function, is possible simultaneously with the same exception. The USB output voltage ripple is ≤ 200 mVp-p under full load, measured using a 20 MHz bandwidth oscilloscope with a 10 μF electrolytic capacitor and a 0.1 μF ceramic capacitor. The device includes USB output protection features such as short circuit protection, overload protection, and overcurrent protection rated at 3.2 A.
