The MCP9700/9701 series of thermistor ICs convert temperature to analogue voltage. A key advantage of this series of thermistor IC is it's resistance to parasitic capacitance and the Ability to drive large capacitive loads.
Applications include temperature monitoring, office equipment, home appliances, entertainment systems, hard disk drives, battery packs and any application that needs to measure a relative change in temperature.
