Store your server, network and telecommunications equipment in this sturdy 42U rack. With a 2-post design, the rack saves floor space and its dual-post, open-depth design makes it broadly compatible with longer equipment.
Maximum portability
The 2-post rack features four swiveling casters, so you can easily move it around in your server room, office or studio. Its easy to reposition or relocate the rack in order to connect your rack-mounted equipment to other devices throughout your workspace.
High durability
The durable dual-post server rack is made of heavy-gauge steel, instead of aluminum, to ensure a stable installation platform. The rack supports a static loading capacity of up to 600 lb. (272 kg), and its compliant with several industry rack standards (EIA/ECA-310, IEC 60297, DIN 41494), to provide a stable platform that eliminates the need for concrete mounting kits.
Wide compatibility
You can easily mount your ANSI/EIA RS-310-D compliant network equipment to the rack without using additional hardware. It features square mounting holes on the frame and a universal design that's compatible with most rack equipment.

What is a U or rack unit measure?
A rack unit, commonly abbreviated as U or sometimes as RU is a standard unit of measure that is applied to rack mount equipment. One U is 1.75 inches (44.45mm).; the standard rack, at 19 inches, is a typical full-size rack at 42U, meaning it holds just over 180 cm of equipment. A typical half-height rack is 18-22U.
Rack servers and other rack mountable hardware equipment are designed in multiples of 1.75 inches and specified in multiples of rack units; One rack unit is 1U, 2 rack units as 2U and so on. Racks are built to hold equipment of those sizes.
