Product Details
This photoelectric sensor is a cylindrical background-suppression device designed for industrial sensing in hygienic and washdown zones. It detects objects using a visible red pin-point LED and interfaces via a 4-pin M12 connector, offering a compact, thread-mount form for integration into machine control and automation systems.
The sensing distance is set using an on-device potentiometer with 270° travel to tune detection across the devices operating span.
A green LED shows power status while a yellow LED indicates the received light beam status and object detection.
The stainless-steel V4A housing and PMMA optics provide resistance to many chemical cleaners, and the enclosure meets IP69K for high-pressure washdown
however certain agents such as lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide are not compatible.
The circuitry incorporates reverse-polarity protection on supply and I/O and overcurrent/short-circuit protection for outputs to safeguard connections.
The sensor is thread-mounted with two stainless-steel fastening nuts and connects via a straight male M12, 4-pin connector.
