Introducing the RS PRO CR2477 Button Battery, ideal for use in devices like calculators, wristwatches and more. This small and lightweight coin-sized battery has been designed with a highly conductive electrolyte that lowers the internal resistance and provides a 3V stable operating voltage. In addition to this, this RS PRO non-rechargeable battery has the ability to function within a wide range of temperatures, making it versatile and suitable for an extensive range of applications and an ideal and cost-effective battery replacement when needed.
Button batteries, also known as coin batteries, are often used as small, compact sources of power for electronic devices, most commonly wristwatches or items like calculators. The biggest feature is the fact that these types of batteries have a long life span, making them ideal for use in everyday devices, especially because they dont need to be replaced every few weeks and can last for a number of years. Coin or button batteries are most commonly used for the following devices:

It is advised to keep batteries away from with metallic objects like paperclips, coins, other batteries or household items such as steel wool, aluminium foil and keys as it could cause a potential fire hazard if they touch. Batteries should be kept in their original packaging until ready for use.
