RS PRO Nylon 6.6 Dome Nuts
From the trusted RS PRO brand, these dome nuts are ideal for applications where it is desired to hide or cover the end of a projecting screw thread. The dome shape can eliminate the possibility of snagging edges, which is ideal for capping off flexible threaded rods. The dome has a hexagon flange which is ideal for both hand and tool tightening for the application of appropriate torque. This flange also may eliminate the need for a washer to distribute the pressure of the nut.
The dome nut is made of nylon, which is weather-resistant and lightweight, and so perfect for light-duty applications and high voltage applications.
